On Tuesday, August 30, Tiny Office Productions will offer a special preview presentation of its new film, “Love…Reconsidered,” at Blu Mar Hamptons. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the screening at 6:30 p.m.
An indie rom-com written by Arielle Haller-Silverstone (co-owner of Ari’s Closet in Southampton) and directed by Carol Ray Hartsell, “Love… Reconsidered” tells the story of Ruby (played by Sophie Von Haselberg), a 30-year-old New Yorker whose life is suddenly transplanted to the Hamptons after a chance meeting with a wealthy consignment store owner. In Ruby’s world, love isn’t ignored; it’s reconsidered.
The film also stars Colton Haynes, Javier Muñoz, Jill Kargman and Marisa Ryan. Rick Younger, Judy Gold, Elaine Bromka, Luke Gulbranson, Jon Lemmon, Anthony Norman and Amy Pham also join the cast. along with Katina Corrao and Anthony DeVito.
“I’m so proud of what we made together. It’s a scrappy indie romcom with a ton of heart and some wonderfully strange turns,” said Hartsell. “I would never recommend making a movie in only 16 days — how are we still alive? But if you have to do it, bring this wildly talented cast and crew along for the ride.”
The film was produced by Tiny Office Productions, founded in 2022 by SJ Allocco-St. Germain and Arielle Haller-Silverstone with actor/producer Molly Ryan acting as creative director behind the new company.
Blu Mar Hamptons is at 136 Main Street, Southampton. To attend the screening, reserve by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
