The jerks at The Shorts Show have made a huge mistake casting me in their upcoming sketch comedy run at the People's Improv Theater. First rehearsal is next week — I'll show them who's Brooklyn's Worst!

This was a really fun last-minute thing. I got to take part in a big production number on live TV for MNN's sketch comedy show The Special Without Brett Davis. We rehearsed a couple of times then did it for real. Enjoy! I'm very happy to announce I've been cast in Future '38, an upcoming Sci-Fi/Comedy feature written and directed by Jamie Greenberg. Future '38 is a "lost" classic film from 1938, recently rediscovered in a Hollywood attic! Filmed in blazing early Technicolor, it's the story of a man who must save the world by travelling to the future. All the way to 2015. And man, did those old-timey filmmakers get a lot right. I'm playing Bitter Herb, a tough guy who's the muscle for his nogoodnik boss, Matzoh. Future '38 shoots late June in NYC and I'll enter more updates into the computing machine as they come over the wire! Next month, I'll be playing one of the leads in a new online sitcom called Labeled.
Each episode of Labeled follows the motley crew of employees working in the PR department at Mirella, one of the most renowned Italian fashion labels in the world. While most of their time is spent catering to A-list New York society, this group of misfit characters finds that the image they are selling at work is far more glamorous than the reality of their own lives. I've been cast as Mr. Mirella, the CEO who hates all Americans and refuses to speak English even though he can. So all my lines will be delivered in Italian. I'm excited to play this very funny part and am looking forward to the challenge. More updates soon. |
